The lamp has a 2.2-meter black cord with a foot pedal switch (flat metal button) placed on the cord. The foot switch is rated for 3A. Assembly required: attach the pole sections, mount the shade onto the harp (included), and screw the bulbs in. The marble base has a felt bottom to prevent scratching. The linen shade can be dusted with a soft brush. The lamp does not have a dimmer. The total weight is 12 kg, making it difficult to move; lift by the base, not the arm. Ensure the lamp is placed on a level surface. The foot switch is located 30 cm from the plug end; it does not have a light indicator. Check the screws connecting the arm to the base periodically; they may loosen over time.
